Unburden Trauma, Heal Relationships, and Live Happier
Trauma Therapy in New Jersey

Don't let your past keep you from your future.
Trauma is the response to experiences where your sense of safety feels threatened and you're left feeling broken, helpless, and voiceless. Trauma is almost always an underlying cause of various mental health conditions.
Unhealed trauma can show up as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, personality or mood disorders, codependency, physical illness, and other symptoms.
I help you change your life and gently heal your trauma by processing shame, and guilt. Don't let trauma dim your light.
Therapy is a great way to figure out exactly what that is and to resolve it. Through personalized strategies, you'll learn to navigate tough emotions and rediscover inner peace.

Hi, I'm catie.
“Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.”
- C.S. Lewis
When we are going through a season of pain it can be difficult to hold onto hope. This quote helps me remember that the pain we experience in life strengthens and equips us to become better versions of ourselves- often leading us to an unexpected and meaningful destiny!
I received my master’s in social work along with a certification as an alcohol and drug counselor from Loyola University Chicago in 2010. I have a passion to help clients overcome patterns of addiction and learn to create a life worth living. Since graduating I have worked in a few different arenas. I worked as a crisis clinician where I helped runaway teens reunite with their families and provided therapy to teens struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse and PTSD within health centers of Chicago public high schools. My most recent work was at an Intensive Outpatient Women’s Trauma program. I started as a clinical therapist and later moved into a clinical manager role providing DBT, trauma treatment and compassion therapy to women struggling with PTSD, addiction, depression, anxiety, suicidal behavior and impulsivity.
I completed DBT core training in 2015 with Dr. Essie Larson. I hold a LCSW with the state of New Jersey since 2014 and have been supervising clinicians towards licensure since 2016.
When I am not working with clients, I like to travel and explore new places, spend time outdoors hiking with my family and have lots of dance parties in the kitchen with my three daughters. I would be honored to join you on your journey.
